Book Launch Party: We Leave the Flowers Where They Are: True Stories of Montana Women

We Leave the Flowers Where They Are is a collection of 41 unforgettable memoirs by Montana women, edited by Richard Fifield, author of Flood Girls (2016) and The Small Crimes of Tiffany Templeton (2020).
The book came together from the many memoir workshops that Richard has facilitated in Montana, and will only be sold at the book launch parties being held in public libraries and select bookstores across the state. A portion of the proceeds from book sales will be donated to Humanities Montana and Zootown Arts Community Center (ZACC), an arts nonprofit based in Missoula.
"The book," says Fifeild, "has transcended from a paperback into a project of empowerment." As part of the book's launch, its contributing writers are visiting public libraries across the state and partnering with advocacy groups who raise awareness about local resources for women."
Selected writers from the anthology will be present to read from their stories.
